Category management
Add, edit, and organize categories.
Overview
Categories organize products on your shop. A category is required when you create a product.
Open in dashboard →Steps
- Go to Categories → New category — name it and add an image if you want.
- When adding a product, pick a category; use + New on the product form to create one on the spot.
- In Themes → Customize, use the Categories section to choose which categories appear on the homepage.
Tips
Empty categories on the homepage confuse shoppers — add at least one product before featuring a category.
